#13 Welp. I Overdid It: Learning My Limits the Hard Way

When Will I Learn That I Can’t Do it All?

I don’t know about you, but I have a tendency to hyperfocus, overwork myself, and forget that I am, in fact, a human with physical limitations. Not great when you’re chronically ill.

I had big goals this week. I hit them. Then I got greedy and decided to do more. And now? I am exhausted.

Like, my-muscles-have-given-up-and-I’ve-melted-into-a-puddle-of-goo-on-the-floor-level exhausted.

So I’m making this post. Mostly, it’s a reminder for myself, but I’m posting it here in case anyone else accidentally falls into the same sticky puddle. 😩 I can’t do everything all at once. And that is OKAY.

New Rules:

  • 5-day indie-publishing workweek, weekends OFF

  • Rest isn’t optional—it’s necessary.

  • Breaks and snacks = non-negotiable

  • Sustainability is 100000% more important (for me) than hustle culture

  • Overdoing it now = burnout later.

📌 Next up: No more goo. Actually sticking to this schedule and not pushing myself too hard.

💬 How do you avoid burnout while chasing big creative goals? Do you have any tips? Because I desperately need ‘em 😫
